Scouting America is made up of several levels of organization, each playing a different role in supporting Scouts and their families. Here’s a quick look at how it all fits together—from our local Pack to the national organization.
Pack 2113 is part of Twin Rivers Council, the local Scouting America organization that supports Packs, Troops, and other Scout units throughout northeastern New York. The Council provides resources, training, camps, programs, and larger Scouting events that individual units like ours can participate in.
Councils are divided into smaller geographic areas called districts, which help support local units and organize programs and events closer to home. Pack 2113 is part of the Yankee Doodle District, which serves Scouts in Columbia and Rensselaer Counties, along with portions of southern Saratoga and southern Washington Counties.
